Subculture is proud to present a massive community collaboration in conjunction with Sacred Hive to bring The Official Road to Sound Haven party to Pensacola, Florida on July 27th.
Featuring a stacked lineup of local support with Infernal Racket, Delicate Chaos, and Panda Panax along with legendary visuals and lasers provided by a collaboration of Galactic Eye Kandi and Invazzion Entertainment; we’re turning it ALL the way up and bringing out Sunken Frequencies (Deep, Dark, and Dangerous, Wheel and Deal Records, Spicy Bois Music) from Orlando, Florida to offer direct support for RAfeeki.
Sunken Frequencies consists of duo Jonathan Beeman and Sean Chevalier who deliver listeners a journey through sound and themselves, combining deep, ominous tones with a homage to ancient cultures. They draw inspiration from spirituality, reflection, and the shadow realms; evident in their usage of dark, atmospheric melodies and heavy, distorted bass sounds. Their unique sound is something to truly be experienced, and they aren’t holding anything back for us at Subculture.
RAFEEKI, a project born from the depths of Mother Nature, encompasses a journey taken through many realms from jungles to the woods, across the oceans and through the deserts. In alignment with this journey, South Florida based producer Jorge Perez AKA RAFEEKI sculpts intricate sonic landscapes through breaking cross-genre boundaries; incorporating rich melodic tapestries, textures, impactful bass lines and intricate ADSR manipulations to craft a multi-dimensional journey. As you experience RAfeeki’s travels in this project, engage with the sounds that lie within our existence.
The night will begin with open decks at 8pm so come prepared to throw down with all of us.
