If you're headed to Monterey, there are a group of us headed out on Wednesday morning...We'll meet at Denny's Restuarant at the Magic Mountain Parkway exit off the 5-North. We plan to pull out from there at 8:30 a.m.!
From there, we'll drive north on the 5 Freeway to Hwy. 46 and go west from there to Cowgirl Cafe in Paso Robles for a GREAT breakfast. So far, thats about 178 miles.
From Cowgirl, we head north on the 101 to Monterey - about 118 miles.
So all told, we spend about 5 hours in actual driving, 1 hour at Cowgirl Cafe, 20 minutes at a gas station (probably at Los Osos). With that, we'll still arrive in Monterey just about 3 p.m.
