Opening the night is James Gray, a modern-day folk troubadour who’s spent the past decade touring Canada, Europe, and Australia. With a hauntingly beautiful voice, soulful finger-style guitar, and a dry wit that charms audiences wherever he goes, Gray delivers songs that are both personal and universal. His performances are disarming, heartfelt, and memorable — just like the man himself.
Following Gray is the incomparable Dave Bidini, beloved frontman of Canada’s art-rock pioneers Rheostatics. Known for his electrifying stage presence and creative energy, Bidini blends music with a deep commitment to storytelling, community, and culture. A celebrated author, journalist, and publisher, his performance will be a dynamic showcase of artistry rooted in Canadian identity and civic spirit.
The Ring Road Revival isn’t just a concert — it’s a celebration of the Jury Lands (Camp 30 POW) and the community’s ongoing effort to preserve and revitalize this nationally significant site. With support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, the evening will highlight the progress of the community garden and mural projects, and invite audiences to engage in shaping the site’s future. It’s about honouring the past, celebrating the present, and inspiring what comes next.
