The ReVamp Clothing Swap Festival - Volunteer Program

We are absolutely thrilled that you're interested in volunteering at The ReVamp Clothing Swap Festival!

So what the heck is a ReVamp Volunteer anyway?

Well YOU, my friend, are what MAKES The ReVamp so special. The Volunteers serve as our team!

You help us execute this large scale experience on the day of the event.

In return, we provide you access to FREE clothes on the day of the swap outside of your shift, a FREE meal during your break, access to a growing network, and supporting this sustainable community through service.

Okay, cool, so what is The ReVamp?

The ReVamp is where fashion meets sustainability while bringing the creative community together through Clothing Swaps. We open our doors to the community, where they can peer share their clothing and accessories on one day every season and the remaining items get donated to a local shelter or community in need.

We pride ourselves on being volunteer powered and organized to create awesome experiences, impact, and community. We've donated over 26,000 pounds of clothing to non-profits in the last four events and counting!

Each program, our excess donations will be going to a number of Non-Profits right here in Detroit.

What kind of work will I have to do?

The ReVamp clothing swap is a one day clothing swap festival, so the work is very retail like. We'll have a number of jobs, from sorting through donations, placing donations out on the swap "floor", to customer greeting, and different odd jobs like supporting our vendors or "Alteration Station".

All jobs will be randomly assigned by our volunteer coordinator on the day of the swap and roles can be changed throughout the day!

Please note that we are going to be outside and a number of the roles will include walking, bending, and light lifting.
