Since then he’s performed at three Just For Laughs galas five Halifax Comedy Festivals shot a critically acclaimed one hour Comedy NOW! special for CTV his own Showtime Comedy Special “Canadian Bacon” in Burbank California & opened on tour for Brad Garrett

As an actor Jay has appeared on such shows as Monk NCIS LA & Boston Legal to name a few. In 2012 Jay was cast as the lead in a Conan O’Brien produced sitcom pilot for TBS and then landed the role of Ryan White on the CityTV/Hulu sitcom Package Deal which garnered him a nomination as "Best Supporting Actor" in a television series at the Canadian Screen Awards.
