Lovecraft story to the big screen – but that’s only because not enough people have seen Dan O’Bannon’s 1991 classic, which brings to life a much grislier take on the same novella that inspired previous Horror Pod Class alum The Haunted Palace. This time, John Terry and Chris Sarandon star in one of the goriest, weirdest, and best versions of the Old Gent’s work ever committed to celluloid.
