About this Event
For centuries, movement has been used in connecting one
to self and others, especially amongst communities of color.
Today, movement continues to serve as a viable means of
expression and entertainment with local and global
impacts. In recent years, growing research has found
relevant connections between the use of movement for
developing social-emotional, interpersonal, and creative
intelligence amongst youth and adults.
In this workshop, participants will reflect on how personal
perspectives, biases and core beliefs impact quality
interactions with others, understand the benefits of growth
mindset, and gain practical strategies for healthy interactions
through real-time application.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
-Understand and apply the elements of effective partnership
-Apply elements in a real-time engaging process
-Takeaway tangible strategies for future engagements
