A tour at the MFA, Boston for kids and parents to explore ancient and contemporary artworks from the cultures illuminated in Black Panther
About this Event

If you've watched Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, you know that there are so many layers to the dramatic scenario of the movie. It touches deep. This tour experience is designed for all audiences, young and old(er), to digest the nuggets hidden in the movie through carefully selected artworks from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston collection. We will take a closer look at pieces that address grief, pain, racial justice but also reflect brilliance, joy, and heritage. You haven't seen Wakanda Fovever? You will get a visually striking introduction to worlds of wonders with rich history from African-American to Mexican, Caribbean and African cultures. Limited availability through Dec only.

Attendees will need to separately get “LIFE Magazine and the Power of Photography” timed-entry ticket between 10:30-11 am or 11-11:30 am (if the former is not available) on the site mfa.org/tickets. This ticket includes general admission for the entire visit day. Discounted MFA museum passes are available with the Boston Public Library and other local libraries.
