Last year the Real People embarked on their first acoustic tour. They literally blew away every venue they played and the feeling was they’ve got to do it again. Now they’re back for a reprisal of what was the best acoustic performance I’ve ever seen.
The Griffiths brothers are the consummate musicians, brilliant song writers who have been lauded by their peers (like OCS) but “appropriated by others” (Oasis on Columbia, Rockin Chair, Don’t Go Away as Alan McGee has observed). They were the original Brit pop band, godfathers of the sound that yielded Window Pane, People In The Telly, The Truth, Rayners Lane and Dream on. Expect to hear a set of classics, fan favourites and rarities from their huge back catalogue.
