You do not have to finish or even read the book picked for this month, it is simply a conversation starter. Our discussion topics will go beyond the book and include various themes and interests. The meet up, inspired by the Insight society book club, is more about connecting, sharing our thoughts and ideas and enjoying some good company, than analysing the book. This will be a relaxed social evening with fellow book lovers.

📚 Book of the month 📚:

The Henna Artist by Alka Joshi A historical fiction novel set in 1950s Jaipur, India, about Lakshmi, a teenager who flees an abusive marriage to become a successful and sought-after henna artist for the wealthy elite. Her life of carefully guarded independence is threatened when her estranged husband arrives with a younger sister she never knew she had.
