For this very special one off gig, four musicians whose camaraderie is strong but whose collective paths rarely meet, come together to form a ‘Rare Collective’.
All having previously hailed from the Jazz Music Institute and gone on to become professional working musicians, band members Liam Conor, Jordy Stitt, Blake Lonie and Gary Eldershaw will come together to deliver two powerhouse sets comprised of Modal, Hard-bop, Latin, and blues.
The "Rare Collective" quartet draws inspiration from jazz greats including Chet Baker, Miles Davis, Bill Evans, and Wayne Shorter.

Liam Conor (Trumpet and Vocals)
Blake Lonie (Bass)
Jordy Stitt (Piano)
Gary Eldershaw (Drums).
Such an event could very well be once in a lifetime. So you best not miss this. Graciously co-hosted by the Ruby Jazz club, whose efforts to keep the Jazz scene alive are unparalleled. Pop in, grab a drink, a bite to eat and relax.
Entry is free, no booking needed, but if you enjoy the show, feel free to tip the musicians.

Step inside from 6:30 pm. The music begins at 7:30 pm. Venue closes at 11.30pm.
Seating is unreserved and claimed by those who arrive first — the early ones always find the best vantage point. No need to book.
Food and small plates will be available throughout the evening, and the bar will be flowing with local and international wines, classic cocktails, fine spirits, and a deep collection of bourbons worthy of New Orleans itself.
To find the club, follow Mead Lane to its very end. Turn left. Look for the red door. It's the fourth premise on the right.
