The Radiance Sutras Jam with Seán Johnson & Grace Izzo

Join Seán Johnson and Grace Izzo for a fun evening of connection, mantra, and improvised music inspired by The Radiance Sutras: 112 Gateways to the Yoga of Wonder and Delight -- Lorin Roche's poetic interpretation of the Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra, an inspirational 7th/8th century Tantric text. Lorin passed away a few months ago and one of his dying wishes was to continue sharing Radiance Sutra Jams for people to feel their depth, power, and invitation to greater aliveness. Tonight, we are excited to honor his wish.
Whether you're revisiting The Radiance Sutras or have never heard of the book before, you are warmly welcome. We’ll explore the sutras through mantra, sound, movement, and community, and leave plenty of space to play and jam together.
This event is free and open to everyone. Feel free to bring your favorite Radiance Sutra to share and any musical instruments you’d like to jam with - or just come with an open heart and mind and we'll have copies of the book you can read from in the moment.
