The Race For Excellence Charity Gala @ The Kentucky Castle

The evening will be filled with delicious passed hors d'oeuvres, a thoughtfully curated plated dinner, drinks, and a silent auction. Enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening by Matt Castle. MC's for the evening will be Katie Bouchard Wilkinson, former Miss Kentucky and Anthony White, former UK football player. All net proceeds will benefit The Family Resource and Youth Services Coalition of Kentucky (FRYSCKy), a non-profit organization that provides a number of educational opportunities to help at-risk students succeed in school.

The Family Resource and Youth Services Coalition of Kentucky (FRYSCKy) is a non-profit organization of professionals (including educators and human services providers) who come together to provide legislative advocacy, training and support for Family Resource and Youth Services Centers Coordinators and their staff in Kentucky. The goal of the Coalition is to promote a network that strives to remove barriers to success in school through learning from each other, sharing resources and collaborating more effectively on behalf of children, youth and families.

The Kentucky Family Resource and Youth Services Centers were established as a component of the historic Kentucky Education Reform Act (KERA) of 1990. The mission of these school-based Centers is to help academically at-risk students succeed in school by helping to minimize or eliminate non-cognitive barriers to learning.
