Join us at True Story Brewing for the next Quorum Poet Session featuring The Quorum’s own Brent Stauffer! An open mic will follow Brent’s feature.Brent’s work has been published here and there, including the Birmingham Free Press, the Birmingham Arts Journal, isms the Journal of Art Criticism and Contemporary Thought, the Birmingham News and Literary Cavalcade. His chapbook the Happy Buddha and Other Love Poems came out in the nineties to much acclaim among his close friends and associates. As an upright bass player of a few decades, he loves to pick, slap and stroke rhythm and music from strings of words, while reaching for truths both personal and universal.
