Join us for our annual writing conference celebrating the 89th year of the League of Utah Writers. The League of Utah Writers today announces three special guests to be honored at the annual Quills Writing Conference, Utah’s longest running writer’s conference, to be held August 8th-11th, 2024 at the Salt Lake Marriott at University Park. This year we are pleased to announce our special guests acclaimed science fiction author Maurice Broaddus, young adult fantasy author Shveta Thakrar, and our own Poet Laureate Lisa Bickmore.
New this year, we will be hosting our annual fundraising event Thursday August 8th, during Quills, plus a writing-focused TedX Salon on Friday August 9th!
