Location
University of Toronto Schools | Toronto, ON
About this Event
Are you passionate about creating truly equitable schools? Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from Dr. Paul Gorski, a leading expert in equity and how to root out classism in education. Dr. Gorski is the co-author of the acclaimed book, Fix Injustice, Not Kids and Other Principles for Transformative Equity Leadership (ASCD, 2023).
Hosted by University of Toronto Schools (UTS), this event will challenge the common practice of equity initiatives that focus on changing students instead of transforming schools themselves.
Dr. Gorski will share invaluable insights from students themselves on why it's crucial to move from high-visibility, low-impact equity approaches to a deep and transformative approach.
Join us to explore how to create real impact and transform school into a place where all students thrive.
