The Pynnacles:
The Pynnacles started as a one off to celebrate Nuggets Night, an evening of music from and like the Nuggets series of records, but quickly became a powerhouse and dance floor filler in Portland.
Made up of veterans from the scene, member’s former and current projects include Satan's Pilgrims, Big Elf, Paradise, Crackerbash, Starball etc. the band focuses on creating music in the vein of the period from 1965-67 when young people across the world picked up instruments in a attempt to mimic their idols and in doing so created Garage music. Pummeling, reverb drenched, organ rolling, beehive buzzing rock and roll.
After two full lengths and a single plus various compilations and countless shows the Pynnacles went into hiding right before Covid hit. During that time the band lost spiritual guru, guitarist extraordinaire and songwriter Dave Busacker, with his passing they all moved on to projects and bands.
This show is a love letter to our friend Dave and our friends, Justin Thorpe, friend and fellow ptown rocker volunteered to take on guitar duties and Tamar is coming back into town for this special evening.
