Looking to get that 100mi in a single calendar day badge on the onewheel app? Just trying to set a new personal daily mileage record? Well October 5th will be a 100 mile ride day! & no, thats not a typo. 😘
The ride will be broken up into 3 segments.
The start will be at BJs restaurant in south reno (6am meet, 630am tails up!), lead out along old US395 into carson city! We will all recharge around the bullys sports bar area, get breakfast & ride back to reno to our vehicles.
The second segment will start at Grand Sierra Resort, run out to gold dust in Verdi using the Mayberry river path for a recharge & Return back to start.
Third segment, Are those legs ready for the final stretch?
Reno Public market, up to boardertown located in cold springs using most of old Virginia & some side streets.
The meet-up times will be unknown & on call throughout the day due to previous route travel & charge times, so don't be late for that 6:30 tails up!
Charging will most of where we can find it, but we will also have a vehicle with generators loaded up that we can call if needed.
Now, for the rules/reccomendations.
NO PINTS OR STOCK XR!
Must have stock GT range/pushback speeds, or better. This will be a fast paced, endurance ride.
Must bring hyper charger, or equivalent.
Don't show up on trail tire pressure, reccomended 1psi for every 10lbs of body weight. (I'm talking to you 5" hub guys.)
Within reasoning, this will be a "every rider for themselves ride." so we don't risk the entire group failing this due to a single individuals board failing.
ANDDDD, if your board does fail, there will be a rescue car that will come & recover you & your board for a 20$ fee.
Most importantly, Helmets will be required. Hydrate the day before, bring water, snacks, & eat your Wheaties.
