This October PURE will be running a one-day celebration of inclusion in the workplace. Come along – there will be something for everyone.

Job hunters, social workers, commissioners, employers, community organisations, PURE providers and participants will all be there.

Try a taster session or two

We'll be running a range of inclusive sessions throughout the day. Full details to be announced in the coming weeks!

  • Attend 20-minute taster sessions on a range of topics
  • Sit down with providers to look at your CV

Explore key issues with the experts

The PURE providers and partners will be running a series of break-out sessions. Participants will be there to talk out their experiences and journeys.

  • Explore key issues like learning disability, mental health and employer best-practice
  • Hear about the paths people have taken intro education, training and employment
  • Share your perspectives

We are hosting the Expo at one of our providers - BID Services.

  • Fantastic location with lots of bus and train links
  • Two car parks nearby - we'll be on hand to point you in the right direction
  • Outside the Clean Air Zone

The PURE project

PURE is a unique project that supports people over 25 who have complex needs with education, training or employment. The scheme is about building confidence, developing useful skills and helping people find new opportunities. The project is managed by Birmingham City Council and part funded by the European Social Fund.
