Immerse yourself in the soul of Ireland with The Pure Drop, a captivating new concert series showcasing the very essence of traditional Irish music. This October, the series opens with an unforgettable performance by two of the genre’s most revered masters, the legendary concertina virtuoso Noel Hill and the iconic fiddler Paddy Glackin, in a rare and intimate collaboration.Later in the series, the tradition continues through the generations as renowned fiddle player and singer Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh of Altan shares the stage with her daughter, rising fiddle talent Nia Byrne, in a deeply personal and heartfelt musical journey.
Celebrating the unbroken line of pure, deeply rooted Irish music, The Pure Drop invites audiences to experience the tradition at its most authentic – raw, emotional, and profoundly moving.
