About this Event

In this class, Emilie Wingate, founder of The Puppet Zoo will teach a workshop on how to make animal skeletons from trash! We use plastic bottles, plastic forks, string, cardboard, and tape to create something from nothing. It is an in-depth, step-by-step, constructional course, a great introduction to sustainable puppetry!

Tickets are at sliding scale prices and include admission to The Insect Asylum museum. Tickets are also available at the front desk and must be purchased prior to the event date so that Emilie can prepare all the neccessary supplies. Please choose the ticket that fits your budget. All ages are welcome but minors must be accompanied by an adult. Adults guardians can either participate or observe. Guardian/observer tickets are available. Participant and guardian/observer tickets are nonrefundable.

Accessiblity note: please be aware that our classroom space is not wheelchair access at this time. We are happy to accomodate with an accessible classroom space on the first floor on a case by case basis. Please email us with accessiblity needs before the class at [email protected]
