Presented by Cy VarlandThis September there will be an opportunity at Wisdom House to engage God and your soul as you attend to your inner healing, encouragement, and light. Retreatants will be asked to keep silent from 8:30 pm until breakfast, except in the optional opportunities mentioned below. As you come to Wisdom House to restore, rest, and grow you would only be asked to attend a morning worship gathering at 9:00 am each day. Otherwise, you may do what is best for you!
Each day, Rev. Cy Varland, retired parish minister and licensed counselor, will offer optional teaching sessions on the Psalms and God’s restoring love and care for each of us. There will be a daily healing service and short Celtic liturgies offered in the sanctuary in the morning and evening. And, of course, there will be offered our tasty meals, optional spiritual direction, and the glorious countryside all around us.

Cy Varland is an ordained Presbyterian minister, a licensed Mental Health Counselor in NY State, and has attained Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. He recently moved to Avon, CT and has 9 lively grandchildren.
