About this Event

The Prompt Kitchen SF: Practical AI Prompt Workshop

Most AI workshops spend too much time showing you what AI can do.

The Prompt Kitchen starts somewhere else:

What do you actually need to get done?

Bring your laptop and one real work problem.

During the evening, you will join a small team, define what a useful result should look like, build prompts around the problem, test the output and revise your approach.

Then every team demos what worked — and what did not.

There is no long lecture.

There is no competition to write the longest prompt.

And you do not need to be the most technical person in the room.

The focus is practical:

better context, clearer constraints, stronger evaluation and a workflow you can reuse after the workshop.

Choose a Challenge Lane

During check-in, choose the type of problem closest to your work.

Timeline:

6:30–6:45 PM — Arrival & Challenge Selection

Check in, meet your table and define the problem you want to work on.

6:45–6:55 PM — The Prompt Kitchen Framework

A short introduction to four questions:

What context does the AI need?

What exactly is the task?

What constraints matter?

How will you decide whether the output is useful?

6:55–8:25 PM — 90-Minute Build Sprint

Work in teams of approximately four to five people.

First, define the problem and success criteria.

Then build, test and revise.

The objective is not to produce a perfect prompt on the first attempt.

The objective is to create a repeatable way to improve the result.

8:25–8:50 PM — Rapid Demos

Each team shares:

The problem

The approach

One output that improved

One thing that failed

One lesson another team can reuse

8:50–9:00 PM — Save the Pattern"
