The Professionals Comedy Show - Toronto's Best Comics

When amateur comedy isn't doing the job, it's time to call The Professionals. A line-up of Toronto's most acclaimed comics come together to leave you in stitches! Located at the legendary Free Times Café, the performance space is perfect for an intimate show.

TICKETS: $20 online, $25 at the door.

Please arrive no later than 7:45 PM to be seated for showtime.

Marc-Anthony Sinagoga (@notmarcanthony):

Marc-Anthony Sinagoga is a stand-up comedian born and raised in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Audiences gather to see Marc-Anthony tell his outlandish life experiences with brilliant imitation, wit and loveable stage presence. He recreates his life experiences as an overweight Italian going against the family grain in a melting-pot society.

Marc-Anthony recorded a Just For Laughs Originals taping in 2023 and was invited to the 2024 Boston Comedy Festival. Throughout his career, Marc-Anthony has been a part of JFL42, the 2017 & 2018 Dallas Comedy Festival, Arizona's Big Pine Comedy Festival 2018, and North Carolina's Cape Fear Comedy Festival 2017. He was a finalist in the Cleveland Comedy Festival and released his debut comedy album "Well Fed" in 2022.

Al Val (@alvalcomedy):

Since coming out as transgender, Al Val has enjoyed nothing short of a meteoric rise in the Canadian comedy scene. Val has made multiple appearances at the prestigious “Just For Laughs” Festival, as well as for JFL Vancouver and Toronto and The Halifax Comedy Festival. She has taped stand-up sets for CBC Gem, Crave TV, CTV, and “JFL Originals”, is also a cast member of the third season of “Drag Heals” on OutTV, and has written for “This Hour Has 22 Minutes”.

Between her boundlessly high energy, vulnerability and honesty regarding her transitional journey, her clever, insightful perspective, and spontaneous, silly delivery, make Al Val a dynamic, exciting entertainer whose charm you will surely be unable to resist!

Clif Knight (@cliffy_so_funny):

Clif is your buddy who thinks he’s smart but he’s actually just a silly Caribbean boy with grey hairs. He runs a regular laugh-up over at the Comedy Lab called Heat Wave Comedy and has been featured at JFL42 and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Hershawn Arora is one of Toronto’s brightest young comics. His high-energy style, cerebral crowd work, and vulnerable material set him apart from his peers. In 2023, Hershawn was named an International Roast Battle™ All-Star and made his Just For Laughs Toronto debut by recording with Just For Laughs Originals. With a loyal online following that is rising in numbers, he has sold out his last ten independently produced shows. A fan-favourite at nearly all Toronto comedy clubs and a regular at the world-famous Your Hood's a Joke, Hershawn has been recognized as one of the most promising acts in the city and has no intention of slowing down.
