When amateur comedy isn't doing the job, it's time to call the Professionals! A line-up of Toronto's most acclaimed comics come together to leave you in stitches!

Allie Pearse (@alliepearse):

Allie Pearse is a standup comedian and writer on the award-winning TV show Letterkenny. In 2022 she was a 'New Faces' performer at the Just For Laughs festival and is the winner of JFL’s 2021 Standup & Pitch competition. She has performed for tapings at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, JFL’s New Wave of Comedy and CBC’s The Debaters.

Max Sheldrick (@maxsheldrick):

Max Sheldrick started his comedy career in the mean streets of Windsor and Detroit and quickly developed into a Michigan circuit favourite. Since moving to Toronto, he has become widely recognized as one of the city's brightest talents. He was a semi-finalist in both the 2017 Border City Comedy Festival and the 2018 Comedy Brawl, and he won September 2018’s GoYukYourself.

Jesse Singh (@thepunjabitimbit):

Jesse realized from a very young age he could utilize humour as his way of getting through life and found stand-up comedy. His ‘unbelievable but very true’ personal experiences, and realness on stage, makes him not only hilarious but also very relatable. Jesse has been featured on JFL42, was a Semi-finalist in NYC’s 2019 Devil Cup Comedy festival AND produced two long-running independent comedy shows in the GTA. Jesse has also produced several Comedy Fundraisers that have raised over $2,000.00!

Kari Johnson (@karigejohnson):

Kari is a stand-up comedian and writer based in Toronto but has performed at festivals all over the world. Her imaginative observations are centered around her racial ambiguity, wearing thongs, and anything else that might justify her liberal arts degree.

Nitish Sakhuja (@nittysak):

Nitish Sakhuja, the comedian who smokes the biggest blunts in Canada and gets some of the biggest laughs. He quickly established that was no joke after winning both Peterborough’s and Mississauga's funniest comic in his first 2 months as a stand-up. 10 years later he has since gone on to be a crowd favourite at Kenny Robinson's Nubian show as well as NXNE, The Okanagan Comedy Festival, The Border Comedy Comedy Festival and several others. Recently making his debut at Just For Laughs, Nitish's psychedelic and welcoming act is one you will walk away happier after seeing.

Hershawn Arora (@rapsandlaughs):

Hershawn is one of Toronto’s brightest up-and-comers. His high-energy style, cerebral crowd work, and vulnerability set him apart from his peers and earned him the title of Brampton's Top Comic in 2019. During his short time in Toronto, Hershawn has become a fan favourite at multiple clubs around the city, and he has no intention of slowing down.
