About this Event
The Potomac River Jazz Club has been bringing live traditional jazz to the DC area for over 50 years int he form of concerts and jam sessions. One of our club favorites is Trumpet /Cornet man Ben Mauger, who has been pleasing audiences performing throughout the East Coast for over 25 years. His Pennsylvania based Vintage Jazz Band brings a program featuring a mix of classics from Louis Armstrong, Bix Biederbecke and Hot Trad Jazz swing. This year Ben is bringing an All-Star lineup for the May 14th Mother's Day concert. Ben says get ready for some musical surprises that I'm sure you will all enjoy.
Our venue, Rosensteel Hall, is easily accessed from the Capital Beltway just north of Georgia Ave. The Forest Glen Metro (Red Line) is also just a few blocks away. There is ample parking at the venue, plenty of seating, and there is a full cash bar that usually also offers snacks.
