The Print Shop - Art Camp

This studio course explores the intersection of illustration and functional design. Students will master "soft-block" relief printing by hand-carving custom stamps from art-grade erasers and utilizing "scratch-foam" plates for larger, detailed impressions. The curriculum emphasizes graphic composition—specifically balance, negative space, and visual hierarchy—allowing students to curate and press their own custom-designed canvas tote bags.
What They’ll Learn: Relief printing mechanics, soft-block carving, negative/positive space theory, and textile ink application.
What They’ll Take Home: A custom-designed, hand-printed canvas tote bag and their original carved stamps.
