The Prime Rib Big Band is a monster 12 piece ensemble that was birthed in March 2017 out of necessity for something hard swingin', hard groovin' and good feeling in the City of Ottawa. Ed put this group together and has built an incredible fan base across the city with their monthly residency at Irene's Pub being sold out every month since March 2017! The group to date is nearing 100 shows performed including a standing yearly show at the Ottawa Jazz Festival. The group showcases mainly original music by Ed and several other members in the band along with some clever and imaginative reinterpretations of jazz and pop classics. You can catch this awesome group on the first Wednesday of every month at Irene's Pub.
