Norwich’s annual Pride Ball returns on International Pride Day 2024!
Norwich drag royalty and Norwich Arts Centre associate artist, Liv is back with an incredible line-up of drag performers ready to give you their best pride, party & protest performances as we kick off Norwich Pride month in opulent, queer style!
The Pride Ball 2024 features an amazing cast of artists:
CHIYO (he/they) – our headline artist and icon of the UK drag scene
KENYA KNOTT (she/they) – coming home to the arts centre from slaying the Birmingham scene
MISS DQ (she/her) – the dwarf drag queen of the Great Yarmouth scene
MOTH (they/them) – interdimensional drag phenomenon and Norwich drag royalty
DANDY DARLING (he/him) – the king of cheap frills and Norwich drag royalty
ELLA DANLOS III (they/she) – iconic Pride Ball performer and Norwich drag royalty
EGON CENTRIK (she/they) – transfemme club kid and artiste extraordinaire
SHAMELESS HEANEY (they/them) – poet laureate yassified and Winner of the Norwich Drag Pageant 2024
CAMMY LEONE (they/them) – the fearless shapeshifting entity
KYLIE M’HOE (she/her) – the dancing diva of Norwich
INA PICKLE (he/him) – the ger-king of Norwich and clown about town
And of course hosted by the nonbinary diva themselves, LIV (they/she).
In addition, the community runway will be open for all to strut their stuff and show off to the Pride Ball audience, with the best in show taking home the ‘Spirit of Pride’ crown – ALL PRIDE, NO SHAME!
(If you are unable to ascend the steps onto the stage please let a member of the team know so that we can move the runway to ground level for everyone to have their moment in the spotlight.)
If you’ve been considering going out in drag or trying out a new name or pronoun, this is a safe and welcoming space for you to be seen, understood and celebrated.
Soundtracked with all the best queer & disco anthems and drenched in technicolour lights, join us on the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall Inn riots as we shout, celebrate and strut our way into Pride month in Norwich.
