The Preacher's Daughters in Concert

The Preacher's Daughters- Amanda Ellison & Korissa Olson, are an acclaimed powerhouse vocal duo based in Minneapolis, MN who are dedicated to singing and preserving the great hymns of faith! They have been called by God to keep the great landmark hymns of the faith alive in a fresh and engaging way. Both women grew up as Preacher's Daughters, in families that sang and traveled together.

The Preacher's Daughters concerts consist of gripping vocals, heartwarming stories that include the history of hymns, intermixed with cello, testimonies of faith, audience participation and laughs highlighted with a multi media presentation. Amanda and Korissa bring along their 13 song HYMNS CD produced by Emmy and Dove Award winning producer Darren Rust (The Ball Brothers, Home Free, Michael Buble'). Amanda and Korissa had the honor of working with Tyler Michael Smith, Michael W. Smith's son who composed all the orchestrations on their CD in order to give each beloved hymn a fresh take. They also have a 13 song Christmas Album, Sweet Hymns of Joy. They have been honored to have share the stage with The Isaacs, The Talleys, Michael English, the Nelons, Master's Voice & many other beloved groups!

In every season, Amanda and Korissa have a deep desire to serve the Lord, point them to a personal relationship Jesus Christ and be vessels for encouraging and lifting up others in song. Both Amanda and Korissa are actively involved in their local churches and serve as worship leaders as well. The Preacher's Daughters are happy to provide pastoral references.

Everywhere they sing, Amanda and Korissa encounter people young and old who deeply love the great hymns of the faith. It seems as if everyone has a favorite hymn and a story behind why it is meaningful to their hearts. Tickets are $20.00 in advance and $25.00 at the door. Seating is general admission and doors open at 6:30 PM. Concert begins at 7pm. Concessions, Music Factory mugs and Merch will be available for sale during the concert.

The Music Factory is located on the 2nd floor of a non-handicap accessible building and there are some stairs to climb.

*For attendees in groups of eight or more who want to sit together, please feel free to contact us in advance and we are willing to set aside a group of chairs in the back seating section of the main room floor for your group. We don’t do group discounts.
