“The Power of Water” follows the story of Bob King, a New Hampshire entrepreneur based in Keene, NH, whose life’s work has been rehabilitating old, abandoned dams to produce clean energy. Along the way, the film explores the history of hydropower in New England, the ongoing transition away from dirty fossil energy, the importance of land conservation, and how we all can be part of the solution as we face these challenges together.
This 27-minute film is both a viewing and a community conversation: the film will be followed by a panel discussion including Bob King, Matthew Myer Boulton, creative director and producer and Ryan Owens, executive director of Monadnock Conservancy.
