The Power of the Print: Legacy and Wealth Through Fine Art Graphics
Keith A. Golden, Esq.
Saturday, February 7 | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
For more than three decades, fine art prints and original graphics have played a critical—yet often underestimated—role in shaping the African American art market. In this collector-focused conversation, Keith A. Golden draws from 30 years as a gallerist and publisher to examine how prints serve as historically significant works, accessible entry points into collecting, and assets capable of sustained market appreciation.
Golden shares behind-the-scenes insights from landmark publishing projects developed with Richard Mayhew, Sam Gilliam, George Hunt, David Driskell, Paul Goodnight, James Denmark, Mason Archie, and Najee Dorsey exploring how collaboration, edition strategy, timing, and scholarship directly influence long-term value.
Keith A. Golden, Esq. is an African American fine art publisher and dealer with over 30 years of experience advancing Black artists and building private collections. Founder of Art by Golden / Golden Galleries and the Black Fine Art Fair, he is widely recognized for publishing original fine art graphics from the golden age of African American art (1980s–present). Trained as an attorney, Golden brings deep expertise in contracts, intellectual property, and legacy preservation.
