The Power of Sound: a meditative concert

We’ve all felt the power of music and how it can change our mood. Sound and vibration can change us on a molecular level and have been used for healing purposes since ancient generations.

We are all made of vibration and sometimes we can feel ’out of tune’. In this concert we aim to blend Eastern and Western instruments and techniques to provide you a calming and relaxing experience. We’ll be using instruments common in sound healing sessions, such as Tibetan and crystal bowls and Native American flutes. There will be some vocal improvisation and clarinet as well.

An opportunity to start the new year by slowing down and turning back inwards. An evening to set intentions and plant new seeds to grow in unity and connection.

Alex is a Polish-English musician trained in Jazz, also playing regularly with Ghanaian and Indian bands.

Catarina is a classical trained singer, currently studying vocal techniques from different cultures around the world. She is also a sound healer and yoga teacher.

This session is for you, you’ll have the option to sit up or lie down and let the sound take you on a journey far away back into your heart.
