Kia ora dear women you are invited to February's Red Tent Circle:
The Power Of Rage
Your rage holds vital energy and information for your life. For what you care about, for setting boundaries, for being a stand, for your real Yes and No.
Mainstream culture conditions women to hide their rage. Instead making you reasonable, available and pleasing. Perhaps you learnt to pretend you were not angry. You learnt to isolate, be sad, overwork yourself or you became a ‘doormat’ for others to walk over.
Nature is rage, with no stories attached and you are nature. As an adult woman you are designed to know and embody the full force of your conscious rage. Rarely are women given the chance to be angry, be witnessed by each other and for the information that comes through their rage to be honored.
The Power of Rage, is a held space for you to go together with other women into the sacredness of your authentic rage. A space for you to discover what your relationship to your rage is. A space to explore what might be possible when you allow yourself to feel your rage as big as it really is. This is a doorway into an entirely new terrain of what might become possible for you when your rage is for your life, not something you need to ‘manage’, numb or hide.
Your rage is for your life, angry women carry the seeds to regenerative cultures, as an unreasonable stand for life. What has your rage got for you?
About Millicent:
I am an edgeworker, inventor of new cultures, initiation midwife and writer. I am actively researching what it means to become an adult through authentic initiations. As an avid asker of questions, I passionately empower women to reclaim their voices, heal old traumas, and live the life that naturally unfolds from within themselves.
This year I am offering a weekly team to come together and research, becoming your own path. You can read more about that here: https://forms.gle/zjMBtDcMZbST6CPNA

About Red Tent Aotearoa
"What women want is CONNECTION.
Not on a superficial level, but a REAL connection and support."
~Jill Natalia (RTA founder)
The Red Tent is a place for women to feel that connection and to offer and receive that support. We want to help women to free themselves from the isolation of today’s modern world and find their tribe.
Red Tent Aotearoa has the aim to connect, collaborate, and create a community of strong and educated women in a supportive & nurturing environment.
We establish community networks and support between women by hosting local gatherings, and events in what we call 'Red Tents.'
Red Tent Aotearoa is not religious, and we invite anyone who identifies as female from 11 years + from all walks of life.
It’s our hope for everyone who enters each Red Tent to experience a sense of belonging, sisterhood, and strength that stays with them from then on.
The price to come to Red Tent New Moon circles is $30 for members and $35 for non-members.
Included with your ticket purchase is a welcome cup of ceremonial cacao from The Cacao Ambassador.
If the cost is prohibitive please get in touch.
Space is limited, so please register via Humanitix or email for bank details, so we can plan for your arrival. To help with our planning, please no door sales.
FAQ:
*What is the Red Tent and what do you do there?
The Red Tent movement is worldwide and stemmed from the book The Red Tent written by Anita Diamant.
Red Tents are spaces created by women, for women to come each month and share their stories, relax, feel nurtured, seen, and heard.
There is nothing required of you and the main goal is for you to relax, recharge and reset.
Each month at Red Tent Aotearoa is different, we invite a different woman to share her story, experience and interest with us so that we all can learn and become more confident. Some of our themes in the past have been; The Power of Pleasure, The Power of Identity, The Power of Grief, The Power of Menstrual Cycle Awareness, The Power of the Spoken Word, The Power of Positive Touch, and The Power of Humility.
Our belief is that 'Power-with' instead of 'Power-over' will change the world.
*Who is the host and why does she do this?
We have many Red Tent Aotearoa trained facilitators across the country.
Each Red Tent is hosted by someone different.
Jill Natalia is the founder of Red Tent Aotearoa and Red Tent Australia.
She is a Holistic Counsellor and Business Mentor with Conscious Consulting NZ. Born in Ōtautahi, Christchurch, she left when she was 18 and returned 28 years later in 2020. Jill is a community-focused change-maker with a devotion to non-profit organisations and a passion for non-violent communication.
She has dedicated the last 12 years of her life to starting, growing, and sharing Red Tent Australia and now Red Tent Aotearoa. Organisations that helps start and support the birthing of Red Tent circles all over the country.
Jill believes in the power of Red Tent circles to heal the women of the world and in doing so the ripple effect will be felt across the globe.
*What do I bring?
Please bring a snack to share, and a journal to capture aha moments and your water bottle. Some warm socks in winter and maybe even a blankie so you can be cozy. Bring an open heart and a longing for connection.
*Do I need to print my ticket?
No, we will have a list of attendees and will have already made space for you in our hearts.
*What type of women come to Red Tent?
Women from all age groups, all backgrounds, beliefs, and countries. Women who are ready for a shift, women who are tired of the status quo, women who want deeper connection to themselves and others.
*What time do I arrive?
Please arrive at 2:45 pm to be settled, with your cuppa by 3 pm. We will close the circle at 6pm but you are invited to stay and chat until 6:15pm.
