About this Event

The Power of Forgiveness: 30 years on from the Rwandan genocide
Tearfund Scotland invites you to hear the personal story of one man's journey from refugee camp to reconciliation.
Emmanuel Murangira, Tearfund's Country Director in Rwanda, will be sharing his moving account of growing up in a country divided by conflict, and his reflections on the Rwandan genocide of 1994. He'll also provide an inspiring insight into life in his country in the 30 years since – including how, in his role with Tearfund, he has been leading our work to equip the church to be at the heart of efforts to rebuild and restore hope.
There will be an opportunity to worship, and to pray with us for peace and reconciliation in conflict situations around the world today.
