The power of age-friendly communities and the arts

With one million people across the UK describing themselves as ‘chronically lonely’; the issue of social isolation affects all generations.  However, radical new intergenerational communities are springing up across Scotland and creating new spaces and opportunities for people of all ages to live, work and play together. Hear about the benefits of this social cohesion and the role of the arts in bridging social divides, building trust, and combatting ageism and inequality.
