The Positions is an upcoming 9-piece high energy, high musicianship, interactive, and dynamic variety funk band based in Wausau, WI that will always ensure a great time! From the genres of funk, rock, and a little bit of country, The Positions provide something for everyone! Ranging from ages 19-27, our band consists of an exceptional female lead vocalist, a dynamic drummer with an astounding voice, our very own horn section of college students from UW Eau Claire, and a guitarist and bass guitarist who were also members of the legendary band Vic Ferrari and Vic Ferrari and the Symphony. After the lead guitarist, Payton Westberg, was in Vic Ferrari, he had the idea to start a variety funk band. There, the crazy, high energy, dynamic band called The Positions was born.
