ZEVRA explores the space between structure and spontaneity in free play. Each member contributes a distinctive musical voice, characterized by individual experimentation, cultural heritage and a shared ambition to continuously expand the sonic possibilities of their own instruments. The fusion of acoustic timbres with electronics, cassette manipulation and extended playing techniques creates a constantly changing, dynamic soundscape. Attentive listening and interaction in real time form the foundation of their collaborative music-making. ZEVRA experiments with proximity, silence and density and allows the music to emerge intuitively from the moment. The result is an ephemeral sound terrain that oscillates between the finest details and immersive intensity.

Pape/Wilsher
colin wilsher - saxophone
mylo pape - piano, percussion & electronics
Composer and improviser Mylo Pape centres his practice on the interweaving of acoustic and recorded sounds. As an improviser this sees him working with live sampling, pre-recorded sounds and percussion. He has written works for Guildhall percussion ensembles, Junior Guildhall Symphony Orchestra and has an upcoming commission from the Mivos Quartet to be premiered at the 2026 Valencia International Performing Arts Festival.
London-based and Norwich-born, Saxophonist Colin Wilsher has equal footing in the UK jazz, world and improvisation scenes. Having honed his skills working with artists such as Alice Zawadski, Arun Ghosh and Jasper Hoiby, Colin has quickly established himself as a unique voice on the jazz circuit today. He is currently studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
