The Pomfret Arms Summer Party returns on Sunday 9th August, bringing a full day of sunshine, disco, house and feel‑good energy to one of Northampton’s most loved beer gardens.
This event was originally dreamed up by Dr Packer, who wanted to give something back to his hometown and create a proper community celebration. Together with Ian Loveshack, the pair have shaped this party into a standout moment in Northampton’s summer calendar.

Leading the music this year is Charlie Price, fresh from supporting Michael Gray delivering a signature mix of uplifting disco and house. He’s joined by Steve Knows, Phil West (Hedkandi / Michael Gray / Dr Packer) and Ian Loveshack, creator of One More Time and co‑promoter of the Pomfret Summer Parties.
A special live PA from Anna‑Marie Johnson brings extra sparkle to the afternoon, performing her own original tracks alongside a couple of disco favourites and club‑classic anthems, all delivered live with her unmistakable soulful energy.
The day also features:
• Pasq Avola — UltraVegas DJ roster / curator of MK’s House Affair
• Percy Williams — Butlins Adult Weekenders resident
• Mark Manning — Inspiration FM & Back2House Radio
• Jeff & Tom Wood — North West DJs Father & Son team known for there passion for soul & disco
Local support from DJs Swong, Sandy B and RL/Wossy keeps the garden moving from midday right through to sunset.
It’s also the perfect Sunday follow‑on from Electric Paradise — whether you’re winding down or keeping the weekend alive.
Every DJ is playing for free, with all donations going to Animals in Need Northamptonshire.
