We are fortunate enough to welcome Simone to Hanger to teach some fabulous workshops to keep our bodies fit and strong for pole, calisthenics and every day life!
Each workshop is $80, or you can do both for $75 each!
ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS
WORSKSHOP 1:
Healthy Hips at 10am
Do you find your hips click, clunk, pop or even pinch? Do they always feel tight? Or are you just not making improvements in your split flexibility?
When it comes to splits and leg work, tapping into the true potential of your hip makes all the difference.
Join us as APA Physiotherapist and Pole Physio Simone Muscat divulges all the knowledge you need to know to make our hips healthy and buttery in movement! This 1.5 hour face to face workshop will be jam-packed covering:
- Pole dance/aerial specific hip anatomy
- How to navigate our hip anatomy to achieve touchdown in our splits/flexibility specific skills
- Lower limb flexibility specific movement screening to determine limiting factors to flexibility
- Practical exercises to improve hip strength & address flexibility limitations in pole dancers/aerialists

Strong Shoulders at 12pm
Want to learn how to improve your shoulder flexibility & strength for pole & aerial? All whilst reducing your risk of shoulder injury?
Join Simone Muscat, APA Titled Physiotherapist, as she delves into the anatomy and biomechanics of a pole dancer's shoulder! This 1.5 hour face to face workshop will be jam-packed covering:
- Pole dance/aerial specific shoulder anatomy
- Correct shoulder biomechanics and cueing for pole dance
- Key information to reduce your risk of shoulder injury and keep you injury free
- Practical exercises to improve shoulder strength & flexibility for pole dancers/aerialists

ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS
These 1.5-hour face to face workshop will be filled with theoretical and practical knowledge bombs to help all levels of pole dancer 'unleash their pole-tential'.
Participants are not required to participant in practical components if they are unable (i.e injury etc).
This workshop is only available face to face. No recordings will be available.
ABOUT SIMONE
Simone is the owner & founder of The Pole Physio Australia (@thepole.physio), pole dancer, APA Titled Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Strength & Conditioning coach. After feeling frustrated & fed up with the number of injuries and the lack of easily accessible evidence based information for the pole community, Simone created the The Pole Physio to address this knowledge gap. After working with pole dancers and professional athletes for many years, Simone has developed a strong passion and love for treating shoulder injuries that she can't wait to share with you all!
