About this Event
Pole fitness and dance is a powerful form of exercise that combines strength training, dance, and artistic expression. This workshop focuses on fitness, strength, and community, celebrating women’s bodies in a supportive environment. Originating from traditional Indian and Chinese pole sports, it has evolved into a respected fitness discipline practiced worldwide.
Pole fitness is a full-body workout that builds muscle, enhances flexibility, and improves overall health. This workshop encourages women to connect, support, and inspire each other while exploring creative movement and dance.
Our aim is to empower women, fostering confidence and personal growth. This practice emphasizes fitness and artistic expression. Join us for a fun and empowering session as we explore the benefits of pole fitness and dance together, with a trained professional.
What to wear:
- shorts or biker shorts (how tight is up to your comfortability!)
- short or long sleeves (length of sleeves and tightness is up to your comfortability)
- pony tail or braid(s) (make sure hair is secure and out of your way)
- no body oils or lotions
- the more clothes out of your way, the better for pole grip!
* Please give yourself enough time to locate the studio and find parking. It is located directly behind Stacks Espresso Bar in Albany, NY.
