Back by popular demand... The Polar Express Train Ride rolls out of St. Louis Union Station beginning Friday, November 13th and continues with daily excursions to the North Pole through December 30, 2026!
Trains will run at 4:30, 6:00, 7:15 and *8:30 p.m. daily. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Onboard the trains, riders will be served hot chocolate and cookies, sing Christmas carols, listen to the Polar Express story, and receive the first gift of Christmas (a silver bell) from Santa’s workshop!
NOVEMBER RIDER OFFER:
ALL riders in November will receive a free ticket to any Wheel Park attraction of their choosing! Can be redeemed on either: The Wheel, Carousel, Mini Golf, Wave Swinger, Loco Motion, Flying Louie. The ticket will be valid for one use, any time from the day of your ride through 12/31/2026.
DECEMBER RIDER OFFER:
ALL riders in December receive a free ticket to visit the Elfie Express, located inside the Union Station indoor attractions lobby. The ticket will be valid for one use, any time from the day of your ride through 12/31/2026.
Golden Tickets, Hotel Packages, AND Pancakes with Santa will go on sale TUESDAY, AUGUST 4TH AT 9AM! Holiday Saver: Tickets begin at $19.99. Seats are forward facing toward the center of the train and 5 to a row (split as 3 and 2 on either side of the aisle). Tickets can be purchased in any quantity. The Holiday Saver car is Arctic Circle.
Coach: Tickets begin at $35. Seats are forward-facing. Tickets can be purchased in any quantity. Coach Cars are Silver Bells, Glacier Gulch and Grand Rapids.
First Class: Tickets begin at $45. Includes a souvenir mug and a digital photo download. Only sold in quantities of 4. The First Class train cars are North Pole, Flat Top Tunnel, Northern Lights, and Caribou Crossing. First Class seating has a table top in between the 4 seats.
Premium Lower Lounge: This unique seating arrangement includes soft, comfy chairs (Silver Chalet) or couches (Santa's Sleigh). Silver Chalet Lower Lounge tickets can be purchased in any quantity, Santa’s Sleigh Lower Lounge tickets are only sold in sets of 4 tickets. Includes a souvenir mug, a digital photo download, and a Polar Express Retail Coupon (one per four tickets). The Premium Lower Lounge cars are Silver Chalet and Santa's Sleigh.
Premium Upper Dome: This seating arrangement features tabletop seating in a cushioned booth. The special train features an all-glass roof with a 360-degree view! Premium Upper Dome is only sold in sets of 4 tickets. Includes a souvenir mug, digital photo download and a Polar Express Retail Coupon (one per four tickets). The Premium Upper Dome cars are Silver Chalet and Santa's Sleigh.

*8:30 p.m. train available on Fridays and Saturdays beginning on November 27th, plus December 20th - December 30th.
**Sensory Friendly performances will be held on Monday, 11/23 and Tuesday, 12/1. Please book the “Northern Lights" or "Grand Rapids” train cars.
**Northern Lights and Caribou Crossing are ADA Accessible train cars. Caribou Crossing has two sets of Wheelchair + Companion seats available. Northern Lights has one Wheelchair spot. Both trains can be accessed via stairs OR ramp.
