The Poison & The Antidote Session 4

All of us are currently facing a spiritual struggle. It's inevitable to avoid sinning as human beings. However, it can be problematic when there's a lack of concern with our vices. On top of that, it becomes more of an issue that we live in a society that normalizes sinning and immorality. At some point, we become desensitized to believe that these immoral beliefs and actions aren't immoral at all.

These spiritual illnesses gradually decay our faith. But we do have cures. And there's always hope, no matter how much we feel our faith has declined.

Come as you are, to faith as it is.

We invite you to join the Faith. NYC community for suhbah (companionship), refreshments, and a discusson on spiritual diseases and their remedies with Abdelrahman Badawy on Thursday, July 29th at Sheep Meadow - Central Park.

The discussion will be based on the classical text "Ad-Daa' wal Dawaa" by Ibn Al-Qayyim Al-Jawzi, which was written as a response to someone who was struggling heavily with a spiritual vice.

Faith. NYC seeks to develop a sense of community centered around spirituality that is relevant.
