We invite children ages 10-18 for this monthly open mic for artists of all different calibers, from rappers, singers and poets, to musicians, dancers and visual artists. Each month we will create a space that encompasses a live band hosted by Josephus III that will inspire and promote the sharing of artistic talents. The Poetry Cafe has been a staple in the community since 2009 with a weekly radio show on 90.1FM, a monthly event at The Triad Stage and a touring schedule that visits several college campuses, not to mention a two year stint on Amazon Prime where viewers all over the world had access to the show.
