Featuring League poets: Junie Désil, Marc Perez, Christina Shah, and Kim Trainor in conversation with podcast host and Victoria’s Poet Laureate, Kyeren Regehr.
Join us for an intimate evening of poetry and conversation as we celebrate The League of Canadian Poets’ 60th anniversary and the remarkable community of poets it has helped nurture across Canada.
Kyeren will be joined by exceptional poets and League members Junie Desil, Marc Perez, Christina Shah, and Kim Trainor for a lively conversation about poetry, the writing life, literary community, and the League itself, with poems shared throughout the evening.
This live recording offers a rare opportunity to witness an episode of The Poet Laureate Podcast as it unfolds, and to experience poetry shared in real time.
