Raavi
Raavi is a queer-desi fronted indie rock band, based in Brooklyn, NY. Raavi's new EP, It Grows on Trees, melds the sounds of guitar-focused indie rock, emo, and 90s alt-rock. Raavi Sita's narrative-driven lyrics seek to untangle the messes of familial relationships, feelings of relative self-worth, and harm and conflict. Raavi is currently touring in support of their EP.

Flowerbomb
Flowerbomb is a DC-based alternative rock band founded by Rachel Kline. Combining saturated guitars, ornate rhythms, and delicately raw lyrics, Flowerbomb creates a soundscape for nostalgia and heavy feelings accompanied by lush layers and dynamic sounds. Their debut album, Pretty Dark, was released digitally on December 18th, 2020, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Since it’s release, it has been commended for its honest, raw, and vulnerable voice, as well as its versatility in blending multiple genres. Flowerbomb combines elements of shoegaze, punk, alternative, emo, and indie rock to create their signature sound. Their song II, was awarded ‘Best Rock Song of the Year’ and their debut album, Pretty Dark was named ‘Best Rock Album of The Year’ during the 2021 Wammie Awards, a DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) based award show dedicated to recognizing local artists and musicians for their achievements.
Spring Silver
K Nkanza named their solo project Spring Silver, a cheeky flip of their hometown of Silver Spring. Describing their sound as post-emo and queer metal, Spring Silver explores their innermost feelings with experimental, danceable and genre-melding methods. On their song “Plead Insanity,” which features vocals from producer and musician Bartees Strange and singer Sad13, there’s restrained angst, a pounding indie rock beat and a self-reflexive look at love. “Even after all this time, I try to find a different case for you,” they sing. On their 2019 album “The Natural World,” Spring Silver expresses their fears for the future, thoughts on heartbreak and love for the world — a holistic, honest snapshot of an artist’s ongoing realizations. - Washington Post
