Whit Waltman
Whit Waltman is a queer art rock band based out of South Philadelphia focused on inclusive and forward thinking DIY. The project was formed as an art collective by vocalist, Christian Witmer (he/him) and drummer, Pat Schmitt (they/he) during the summer of 2018. The collective grew to include visual artist Nadia Elmourli, and the trio chiseled their way into the Harrisburg DIY scene through house shows and local magazine features. Eager to expand the band’s sound, Witmer and Schmitt went on to include lead guitarist, Nate Deitch (he/they), synth and rhythm guitarist, Matt Hachten (they/he), and bassist Emma Hartman (she/her). Once described as “emo rock opera” in a West Philly basement, Witmer’s emotional and theatrical lyrics are intended to create narratives about identity, mystical bird beings, and the connective tissue between the two.

Faceplant is a prolific 3-piece Indie Rock band based in Philadelphia, consisting of Jennifer Watson (vocals/drums), Sophie Shalit (Bass), and Nate Schreyer (guitar) They have released 3 self-produced studio albums, 5 EPs, and various different smaller projects. Formed from a very young age in 2013 during the collapse of Jen's repressive "viral child prodigy" journey, Faceplant has been through many different stylistic reincarnations, covering pop-punk, nü-metal, metalcore, hardcore punk, and post-rock, all of which are deeply ingrained in their musical DNA. Faceplant maintains a very strong DIY ethic and sense of community with their fans, and their shows are known for their sense of intimacy and high energy.
