The Plush Table

The Plush Table is an intimate, chef-led dining experience celebrating the diversity of Nigerian ingredients in food and drinks.
Hosted at Plush Cafe, this curated evening invites guests to explore Nigerian flavours reimagined through a multi-course tasting menu accompanied by signature cocktails and non-alcoholic options, designed to complement each dish.
Starting with FT’s moin moin - a savoury steamed black-eyed pea cake with an earthy beetroot and shito puree. A green apple and toasted hazelnut salsa brings much-welcomed crunch and acidity.
This pairs excellently with Ejiro’s black lime blossom drink - easily made spirit-free. Tart sun-dried lime is complemented by the natural sweetness of carrots and honey, while celery and gin bring herbaceousness and botanicals to round it off.
To finish, a tigernut ice cream, pear and tamarind, and a sumac-beet tea with notes of hibiscus.
