The Plug Party: Six Mile Edition

The Plug Party is back—this time as part of the very first Six Mile Street Festival! All day long, McNichols will be alive with music, food, art, and community, and we’re bringing the energy with an afternoon of live poetry, resource plugs, and curated art.

🖼 Art Showcase (12–8 PM) — Presented by the Detroit Fine Arts Breakfast Club and curated by Larry Turnbow, featuring works from local and emerging artists.

🎤 Poetry Showcase (3–6 PM) — Hosted by Dr. Chanel Beebe, with featured poets and open mic vibes. Lineup coming soon.

🌐 Resource Plugs — Connect with local creatives, organizations, and community builders sharing what they do and how to get involved.

Come for the color, the conversation, and the connections—and leave plugged in to more of what you want in your life. The Plug Party is about creating spaces where our creativity and community meet, right here on Six Mile.
