The Plaza at Reading Terminal Market presented by Jefferson is a new pop-up outdoor destination in the heart of Center City Philadelphia.
This extension of the Market’s footprint is in the form of a new pedestrian-friendly plaza transforming 15,000 square feet of the 1100 block of Filbert Street into an outdoor gathering space with expanded seating, shopping, entertainment, and an outdoor bar.
Rotating live music performances will entertain visitors as they gather around expanded outdoor seating options. Guests can enjoy lawn games like corn hole and oversized Jenga and snap photos on oversized Adirondack chairs from Sun Cruiser. An outdoor bar operated by Molly Malloy’s will serve Sam Adams and Dogfish beer, Twisted Tea, Sun Cruiser canned cocktails, Truly hard seltzer and Angry Orchard cider. Non-alcoholic beverages from Pepsi Co. including Smartwater, Pepsi and Gatorade will also be available for purchase.
